Mercy is the fruit of charity. It is attributed to God, The Father of mercies and God of all consolation, who, moved by His great love for us, even when we were dead because of our sins, gave us life through Christ. By these actions and words Christ makes the Father present among men.

We want to use WYD as an opportunity to talk about the Works of Mercy. Every moment is a good moment to think how we can be a better person, and a better Christian: but throughout WYD is an even better moment – through the videos in Youtube, and on websites like this one, on the big screens in Cuatro Vientos, in the Metro in Madrid… Here are 14 examples of how to talk about the Works of Mercy.
